Fifty IP phones connected by 20 kilometers of CAT7 cable have been installed for use inside the hospital. A central server that sits in a fully air-conditioned room is the “heart” of the system and this piece of equipment guarantees an uninterrupted communication source even in the face of power failure.
Timo Klingelhoefer spent 1 week configuring the system parameter. In order to minimize the cost of the system, a “freeware” software system is being used. Actually this brings the cost of the system to “zero” because Timo Klingelhoefer as 1 of our missionaries does his work for free!
