The drone and the tower

Flying practices at an altitude of 4,000m

You need 45 minutes to drive from Curahuasi to get to the mountain pass.  Enough time to muse as to whether our small helicopter, weighing 249g, will hold its own against the gusty winds or not.  Dr Benjamin Zeier lets the flying object start from the car roof.  The battle with the south-west wind has begun.  The drone crashes twice, but two doctors arrive on the scene within no time.  That evening looking at the photos taken one feels satisfied.  A good bird’s eye view from our radio tower that has been broadcasting towards Abancay for several months.

The drone approaches the aerial tower.
