The Development of a Mission Hospital

At present, approximately 30 construction workers are working on the Diospi Suyana plot.

All efforts are going into the construction of the water cisterns to ensure long-term availability of water. Following tough negotiations with the regional government in Apurímac and the city administration in Abancay some of the important construction machinery has arrived on site.

Judd Johnson of the USA has overall responsibility for the project as head of the Constructec Co. From August, Udo Klemenz of Germany will take on responsibility for quality control.

Upon completion, the mission hospital in Curahuasi will provide medical care for thousands of Quecha Indians.
