All good things take time. The Diospi Suyana Eye Clinic is scheduled to start operations early 2012 with a thorough orientation for its team members. Before the opening, we are expecting more equipment to arrive from the US, Germany and India.
At the moment, we are unpacking large boxes with new instruments and products that arrived in Curahuasi from India. At the end of November, container #30 is scheduled to reach the port of Lima, packed with many pieces of equipment from the German company Haag-Streit.
So far, the missionary hospital in Peru has received materials from Europe, the US, Australia and now Asia.
