Six missionaries arrive in Lima
Hanna Tielmann writes: “After a 24-hour journey we arrived at Diospi Suyana’s guesthouse around 10p.m., tired but happy. Our meeting point was Madrid Airport; we, that is the Küglers from Berlin, Family Kessler from Heidelberg, Family Tielmann from Herne and Tanja Derksen. We enjoyed good flying conditions and pleasant flights. The entry procedures went ahead smoothly and Debora Centner waited for us after baggage reclaim in Lima. We were impressed that more people and luggage fitted into the minibus than we expected.
Our first few days passed unspectacularly, bar a power cut at Interpol which caused some delay. We are starting to acclimatise to the different time zone and the warmer weather here. Soon we will all be heading to Cusco in order to attend language school!”
After completing the language school the six of them will join our staff at the Colegio Diospi Suyana and the missionary hospital. We are delighted about their safe arrival and wish them a good start in Peru.
