Obele de Haan is from the Netherlands and his fiancée, Dorothea Sauer is German. They have spent the last few years volunteering onboard the Mercy Ship as a mechanic and nurse.

Now they plan to give up their sea-faring ways in exchange for the firm ground of our mission hospital. Before arriving in Peru they have a wedding to deal with, so we wish all the best to our future co-workers as they make preparations for their marriage and subsequent move to Peru.
