What an economic boom
The aerial picture shows what the Hospital Diospi Suyana in Curahuasi currently looks like. The below shows the hospital nine years ago. Back then greens fields were our immediate neighbours. The media centre’s buildings, the tent roof above the amphitheatre and the orthopaedic workshop had not yet been built.
In the above photo one can clearly see how many houses have been built near the hospital; most of them are hotels, guest houses and shops. Diospi Suyana has furthered the district’s economic life and has directly or indirectly created at least 500 jobs.
