Marta Miranda is a real creativity bomb for the children from Curahuasi
Spaniard Marta Miranda actually lives in Gibraltar, which is why she has two nationalities. She earns her living as an actress in London, although her ensemble occasionally goes on tour. Over the past few weeks, she has been preparing almost 300 children from the Curahuasi district for a musical. Under the theme “The Life of Jesus”, young and very young singers can demonstrate their acting skills on the stage of the amphitheater.
On Saturday evening, many Curahuasinos will hopefully be sitting in the large semicircle to witness the event. The pictures below give an idea of what a musical like this means to the village children. You can recognize Marta Miranda, who by the way is a committed Christian, by her red hat (above) and her brown costume (below). We hope that everything works out as hoped.
