Peru prays

Large events in many cities

More than 0.1mio Peruvians met at many different places in order to pray for their country.  About 100 people from roughly ten churches met in Curahuasi in the hospital’s church.  In his short address pastor Adrian Campero (above left) homed in on the corruption that is rampant in all parts of Peruvian public life.  Peru desperately needs a radical change – God could bring it about.

The prayer-service, organised by Diospi-Suyana’s Media Centre Team, headed by Doris Manco, in Curahuasi lasted 2 hours.  The live broadcast from the hospital reached several thousand Peruvians living in six regions of Southern Peru.  Listeners dialled in from near and far for many hours after the event.  Without a doubt this day of prayer firmed the unity of the church.
