“Peru 21” is one of the most important media companies in Peru. The newspaper and the television channel of the same name play a prominent role, particularly in political reporting. Its orientation is completely secular. The director, Cecilia Valenzuela, is a star in the industry and has had a major influence on public opinion in the country for many years.
A few hours ago the TV channel reported on a “hospital full of faith” – Diospi Suyana. At the same time, a whole page appeared in the Sunday edition of the newspaper about the “Hospital of God” in Curahuasi.
Over 20 years ago, representatives of the press tried to make it clear to us that nobody was really interested in the aspect of faith. But the reality is different. In a dark world without hope, ultimately only faith offers orientation and perspective. According to our database, 119 TV reports about Diospi Suyana have been broadcast worldwide so far. Most of them on secular channels with a clear reference to our Christian conviction that Jesus Christ really was who he claimed to be – the Son of God.
We employees at Diospi Suyana work in many social areas because we are convinced that Christ’s tomb was empty on the third day. In the end, it is faith in a tangible God and not the sports program on the LED screen or the pretty influencer in the YouTube clip that counts. /KDJ
