The package is already on it’s way to Peru. According to the US Postal Service, it should be in Curahuasi by next week. We sent it to Martina John.
It was the first ‘Community Project’ of the Brownie Girl Scout Group No.
32596 from Oakland (USA). Anna, Anika, Eva, Juli, Lauren, Ruby and Sophie are from this group (see photos).
The girls, who are the ages 6 and 7 years, had a lot of fun with this project. Each family was responsible for a special crafting utensil (scissors, glue, colored paper, etc.), and the girls could choose their own favorite decoration material — like glitter or stickers.
To introduce themselves to the kids from the kids club of Diospi Suyana, the seven girls made a book with pictures.
We all hope that the kids in Curahuasi will have some happy hours with the new handicrafts and that the group leaders also enjoy it. Please let us know when you need something special again.
