Our construction team hard-working as always

Civil engineer Christian Heuchert is satisfied

Dear friends, the past two weeks were marked by the National Independence Day in Peru and the clearing of the construction site for the construction of Residencia II. Traditionally, various groups march in the Plaza de Armas on Independence Day. So do we as Obreros (construction workers) together with the other work areas of Diospi-Suyana in our respective work clothes.

Colegio: Despite the public holidays, construction is progressing. On Building A, the ceiling formwork is being erected above the corridor and the reinforcing steel is being installed. We are not quite as far on Building B yet. We are working hard to complete the columns on the first floor so that we can start the brickwork.

Residencia II: In order to move the solar panels, it was necessary to increase the maintenance staff with construction workers from the Colegio. In the meantime, part of the solar system for the hot water has been installed at the new location and is in operation.

A lighting column also had to be moved because it was located at the planned corner of the new building. At its new location, it now also provides additional light for the stairs. (Picture above: Diospi-Suyana construction workers march on Independence Day)

Saludos, Christian
