The company McLean from northern Germany donated individual wheelchairs along with accessories and upholstery fabrics. The company CHW Technik helped with belt systems. Corinna and Helmut Wagner (CHW) did not miss the opportunity to personally transport the valuable cargo from Duderstadt to Diospi Suyana’s warehouse in Mörfelden-Walldorf. The contacts for this support were also made at the most recent trade fair for orthopaedic technology in Leipzig.
Christian Haupt, head of our orthopaedic workshop, will process the materials over the next few months for the benefit of the patients. Incidentally, the total value of the donation is over €7,000. We thank them with a handshake, a proper bow and an old-school curtsy. Although, admittedly, most women no longer know how to do this properly. /KDJ
