On February 3, 2009 the Federal Administration office approved a dual citizenry request by Drs Klaus-Dieter and Martina John. Dr John received the paperwork in the German Embassy yesterday. This opens the way for the Johns to apply for Peruvian citizenship without losing their German nationality. Having Peruvian citizenship will help to ensure better stability for Hospital Diospi Suyana in case of political uncertainty in Peru.
