Ollanta Humala: How will his presidency effect Diospi Suyana?

The former commandante Ollanta Humala has won the elections. On July 28, Peru’s national holiday, he and his family will move into the presidential palace in Peruvian capital Lima.

During the last three weeks of his election campaign, he swore many times that Peru’s democratic structures, including its constitution will remain unchanged.

Diospi Suyana wishes the new president God’s blessing. Maybe an opportunity will arise to personally present the work of the missionary hospital to the new president in the near future.

Many Peruvians are afraid that Ollanda might establish himself as a ruler like Hugo Chavez. But that seems rather unlikely.

The gigantic Salkantay mountain still stands, work at the hospital continues, and. trusting in God, we will are planning on extending Diospi Suyana’s area of operation.
