At this moment the 16th container, holding approximately $360,000 worth of donated equipment, is sitting in Customs. The authorities have ordered that the container and all the crates inside, be opened for inspection. Obviously the risk is that the contents could be damaged during this kind of procedure. Right now we are making phone calls to try to prevent this from happening. At 2:30pm (Peruvian time) Dr John will speak directly with the Customs Director.
