Nearly five buildings of Diospi Suyana School completed

Dear Friends, I hope you could enjoy a relaxing weekend this Whitsun – in spite of the miserable weather in Germany.

The sun is back over here and really hot during the day, after some rainy and dull days. However, when the sun goes down we feel that winter is approaching and it gets rather cold.

A lot of workers’ sweat went into concreting the floor of the administrative building’s ground floor on Tuesday when concrete needed to be transported in wheelbarrows to the floor and across a ramp. Anyway, all works were completed by 3.30 pm and the team were able to enjoy a well deserved early evening.

The roof of building 2 is virtually covered now and completion of ridges, crests and grooves is in its final stages.

Welding work and assembly is currently being carried out at the bannisters of buildings 3-5 and roof overhangs are covered with cement-bound Eternit building boards.

Roofing, mechanical works and the covering of roof overhangs will be executed by a subcontractor.

Many of the river stones dug up in the excavations for the building foundations are now put to use in forming a wall around the hospital’s premises.

Other than that, numerous little and insignificant but necessary jobs also got done this week.

Wishing everybody a great weekend,

Udo
