One year of hard slog is now behind them. Yesterday Dr John finally held in his hands recognition of his German medical license. During the past few months Alan Garcia, President of Peru, and his Health Minister, Garrido Leca, had worked on behalf of the Johns and finally received the “green light” from the University of San Martin de Porres.
Secretary General of the University, Mr Redolfo Gavilano (left in the photos) congratulated Dr John who was then called into the office of the University’s Rector. Engineer Eduardo Bao also offered his congratulations and commented on his pleasure over the smooth running of the procedure.
