Today, November 12, 2008 at 11: 30 am Dr. Martina and Dr. Klaus John received their long-awaited licenses for the exertion of their occupation in Peru. The dean of the national Department of Labor, Dr. Julio Castro congratulated them cordially. For this ceremonial act they travelled overnight to the capital city, Lima. It was indeed a worthwhile journey.
There were a lot of important people at this ceremony: Prestident Dr. Alan García, the past health minister Garrido Lecca, the vice health minister Dr. Melitón Arce, two deans of the national Department of Labor, the headmasters of two Peruvian universities, and two deans of medical faculties. To complete this proud list, we would like to acknowledge the help of the Germany Embassy in Lima and of the University Johannes Gutenberg in Mainz.
The next step is to apply for the licenses of all the other doctors who want to work at the hospital Diospi Suyana for several years duration.
Diospi Suyana would like to thank all who were involved for the successful closing of this 18-month long proceeding.
