Who knows why 3yr old Makarena decided to poke a white bean into her ear? What is certain is that it obviously couldn’t stay there.
Two hours ago Dr. Martina John, Dr. Alex Brunner and Dr. Angela Barrier worked with loving care on the little girl. After 90 minutes they were finally able to extract the bean and throw in the rubbish where it belonged.
The procedure attracted much interest from the hospital’s staff. At one stage 12 people were counted in the operating room! (Three fotos)
