La fiesta de la Santa Catalina is a Catholic town festival and we thought long and hard as to whether we “Evangélicos” should march in the parade with everyone else.
Considering ourselves part of the town, we always join in. Lined up in rank and file we march past the stage to a song by Marcos Witt, the best-known protestant song-writer in South America.
The song, a rock hymn entitled "Jesus es mi Señor, no me da temor!", goes right to the quick.
It should be pointed out that many Catholic congregations have made donations to Diospi Suyana and there have been five very positive reports in the German Catholic press. Diospi Suyana has many friends across the denominational board
Fortunately, we will be marching side by side in heaven too !
