Intelligent and ready for use
The young technician from Baden-Württemberg is sitting at her desk and working hard. As she patiently explains to me, she is working on a central control panel that could clearly display the pressures of oxygen, suction and compressed air. People like her are commonly referred to as bright lights.
The other day she was drilling and hammering in the CT room to remove the old tiles. I had to look twice before I recognized her behind her safety goggles. But her enthusiasm for the work was impressive.
In six weeks’ time, she will continue her training at the university in Stuttgart. In the long term, she would be just right for a certain missionary hospital in the Andes. Maybe we should have a serious word with her. I have an idea. /KDJ
