A few weeks ago, Diospi Suyana’s physical therapist alerted us to the lack of pediatric wheelchairs. During her report, Alexandra was especially thinking of three-year-old Jean Pierre. The boy, who since birth has cerebral palsy, was in desperate need of a mobility device.
Stefanie and Tibor Minge took their colleague’s appeal to heart and posted it on their facebook page. The result: five pediatric wheelchairs were donated by friends from Oranienburg, Germany.
Yesterday, Jean Pierre sat in his new device for the first time. The little boy is happy, his family is happy and the Minges are thankful for the positive response to their facebook post.
