A great honour for Diospi Suyana
Sr Elmer Schialer’s invitation is doubtlessly a rare honour. The John’s were delighted to accept and present Diospi Suyana’s work to the highest-ranking Peruvian dignitary in Germany. 10 hand-picked persons listened to the missionary doctors’ presentation in the Embassy’s “Maria Reiche” Saloon in Berlin. Apart from the Ambassador and his wife, Sr Francesco Petrozzi, Peru’s former Culture Minister, and honorary consul, Prof Dr Jörg Gabert also listened to the words of the German-Peruvian.
The ambassador said that he enjoys receiving Diospi Suyana’s regular Information Letters and that he would use his contacts to facilitate our voluntary staff’s entry to Peru. Everyone enjoying the delicious lunch in the Ambassador’s residence had one thing in common: the love for Peru and its people.
