In retrospect it was a good day for Diospi Suyana

Huge steps forward in the preparations

Everywhere at the hospital things are being planned, made and realised.  At home it is no different.  Occupational therapist Susi Rottler is sitting at her sewing machine producing overshoes for the isolation wards nineteen to the dozen.  And that is exactly what we need.

Despite the market being pretty much completely dried up Diospi Suyana was able to obtain two brand new respirators in Lima.  After Dr John’s presentation the company’s CEO reduced the bill by 10 Grand under current market prices. And that is exactly what we need.

That evening a Peruvian anaesthetist called.  In one week she plans to strengthen our team by spending three months working on the intensive care ward.  And she is the person that we need.

A big „dankeschön“ also to the German Ambassador.  He wants to help Diospi Suyana in our dealings with the authorities.  And that is exactly what we need.

Currently Diospi Suyana’s radio channels are broadcasting a 24-hour programme with songs, prayers and words of comfort.  Several radio stations, among them three secular ones, are broadcasting our programme on their frequencies.  Tens of thousands of Peruvians will now be encouraged and comforted through Diospi Suyana’s programme. And that is exactly what we need.

Two videos on the social media show dead people on Lima’s streets.  People wiped out from one moment to the next.  A few days ago we saw similar pictures from Ecuador.  We trust in God in this and the future life.  And that is exactly what we need. /KDJ

What a learned man wrote from a Roman dungeon 2,000 years ago:

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.“ (Philippians 4:6 – The author: Paul)

Two new respirators from Lima.
“We need that urgently! Do you happen to have another one?”
