In Llañucancha‘s village community hall

Doris Manco makes the case for erecting a Diospi Suyana aerial tower in the vicinity

High up the Andes, somewhere between 3,700 and 4,000m, where outside the wind whistles round all corners.  Inside the inhabitants of Llañucancha are in good spirits.  Doris Manco, head of our media centre, has just presented our request: we need 110m² of land on which we can erect our aerial tower.  Through this aerial 0.1mio people living in the valley of Abancay will be able to tune into Diospi Suyana’s radio programme.

Such negotiations need lots of patience.  Doris has both patience and perseverance and she know that the hard work she puts in is worth it.  Our radio brings the best news that exists to the mountain villages: programmes about family, health, culture and faith.
