Biker-service takes up an offering for Diospi Suyana
Trossingen. On Sunday the fifth Biker-service took place in the Evangelisch-Freikirchlichen-Gemeinde. For some of those present the leather costumes that adorned many seats may have raised an eyebrow or two, but this event was especially for the motorbike group “Messengers”.
In the news we mostly hear about the riders of these heavy machines when the cause or are involved in severe accidents. But on the highways and byways the Messengers know they are held safely in God’s hand; something they and Diospi Suyana have in common.
The band “Die Väter” (“The Fathers”) played brilliantly and in his sermon entitled “Highway to heaven” Alexander Pollhans homed in on the core of our faith.
The offering was taken up for Diospi Suyana in Peru. And so that everyone knew what (s)he was so generously supporting Jeannette Zilz gave a gripping talk about the work of our missionary organisation. For years Jeannette and her husband Reinhard have been members of the board of trustees “Diospi Suyana e.V.” and have worked in the front line.
A thank you to all participants and God speed on the German roads wishes Diospi Suyana from the Andes.
