An intermediate building report from Saturday 1st July 2017 at 3:30 pm local time
Dear Diospi Suyana Friends, this morning a crane truck arrived from Abancay to put the first of four rearward supports for the Amphitheatre’s roof in place. The anchor screws fitted perfectly and the procedure could be performed without any problems.
At lunchtime the second crane truck from Cusco arrived and together the two trucks hoisted the large bottom beam into place. We congratulate Fa. Malla Flores to this excellent result. All the work was done in time for 4 o’clock tea.
We continue to wait with bated breath how the technically challenging mounting of the tent-shaped roof will work out.
Kind regards, Udo
