Greetings from the Covid-station

The future lies in God’s hand

Nurses Wilma and Rebecca wish everyone a happy and blessed new year.  Their greetings carry a lot of weight, since the intensive care unit is located directly behind where they are standing, where another battle between life and death is just taking place.  The Pandemic is not over yet and until Peru has implemented a widespread vaccination campaign lots of water will have flowed down the Amazon River.

The Cyprian Plague in Rome lasted for 21 years.  We expect Corona to die down during the course of the year.  But one must be careful with such prognoses.  Our staff at any rate will continue to act carefully without falling into hysteria.

It makes a huge difference if one trusts in and relies on God’s care and protection or not.
