Gisela Graf, one of Diospi Suyana’s founding members, celebrates her 80th birthday She asked for donations for Peru instead of presents for herself

Children are known for their imagination.  But did Gisela Graf, born in Wiesbaden as Gisela Stücher, lying in her pram ever think that she would celebrate her 80th birthday in aid of Diospi Suyana?

70 guests attended her party in the Drei-Lilien-Saal on the Neroberg of the State Capital.  Among them were missionary doctors John – who are attending the yearly business meeting coming weekend – who cordially thanked the birthday girl for the wonderful occasion.

Gisela and her late husband, Uli, belonged to Diospi Suyana e.V.’s founding members back in August 2002.  The devout Christian tells the story: “Klaus John invited me to the organisation’s constituent meeting.  I asked him how I could contribute to the project.” Klaus answered. “You can pray.” “And that is what I have done all these years.  Up until today I pray for the members of staff and the patients and ask God to bless Diospi Suyana!“

In the song she performed Dr Martina John tells about Gisela’s great contribution for the missionaries in Peru.
