Four good news

In one day

Over the past few months, our employees have been doggedly battling a large number of technical malfunctions at the transmitter stations. Since yesterday, all eight broadcast towers have been running as they should, transmitting “the best news for the world.” The antenna above belongs to the radio tower in Casabamba. From this location we again reach many listeners in the states of Apurimac and Ayacucho.

Disaster drills are part of the annual routine. In Peru, landslides, earthquakes, bus accidents and violent conflicts are constant dangers. During yesterday’s test, Hospital Diospi Suyana functioned flawlessly.

Marion Hofmann snapped an anise field in Curahuasi. Curahuasi calls itself the world capital of anise. The white surfaces are beautiful to look at, they give off a very pleasant aroma in the air.
