Five missionaries on their way to Europe

With suitcases full of blessings

Yesterday evening the Diospi-Suyana-Community bade farewell to Families Rottler (centre) and Klatt (above left) and the Swiss woman Ricarda Wiederkehr (wearing a grey jacket).  Osteopath Markus Rottler and his wife Susi, an experienced occupational therapist, will head back home to Bavaria with their sons Anton and Emil.  Electrician Markus Klatt, his wife Christiane who worked as an operational technical assistant and their two sons Johannes and Immanuel are heading back to Baden Württemberg.  Nurse Ricarda is considering returning to Peru at some point in the future.  The five of them spent the last three years of their lives in Peru helping the poor.  Their motive was the living out of their faith. – We most cordially thank them and wish them a good start back in Europe.

At the end of the long evening the members of staff formed seven prayer groups.  For those leaving Peru a new phase of their lives with a number of challenges is starting.  The country of Peru is standing on the brink of political change with an unsure direction.  But irrespective of where Christians live and are active they always know themselves protected in God’s hands.
