It’s Friday morning in a warehouse in Wiesbaden and a handful of volunteers have a big challenge for the day.. Equipment with a value of more than $100,000USD has to be packed into a 40-foot container. Our friends packed and stacked and pushed and organized all day. The team was made up by : Detlev Hofmann, Olaf Böttger, Manuel Fenzlein and Mr. Friedrich.
Among the contents are new x-ray machines, a lab machine to measure blood coagulation, some furniture, instruments for the Operating Rooms and Maintenance shop as well as high quality equipment for the physiotherapy department.
As soon as the shipment arrives in Curahuasi, the Operating Rooms and the hospital ward can be opened.
