Yesterday, the 2,500th patient was treated at the dental clinic. Her name was Bacilia Oscco Quispi and she came from Andahuaylas. Friends from her village had told her about the hospital Diospi Suyana. And so she decided to make the 8-hour journey to Curahuasi. Dentist Ursula Lozano was happy to see her.
A little bit about the patient: She has five children, was never able to go to school and speaks Quechua but hardly any Spanish.
