Surprising news from El Salvador

From Logos Hope to Diospi Suyana

At the end of last year we received an email from a student in El Salvador. She writes: “Hello Diospi Suyana! Back in September I got to know the boat “Logos Hope” when it visited my homeland. While browsing around the boat’s bookshop I found a book whose title immediately gripped me: “Dios es visible” (English title: “I have seen God”). While I was reading the book from cover to cover I loved living in the wonder of this project and could fully identify myself with your work. I am studying medicine and, once qualified, plan to serve my neighbour and spread the good news of Jesus Christ…”

From 2004 to 1st August 2018 Logos Hope has moored in 112 harbours in 66 countries: truly remarkable figures. Over 7.4m people have bought more than 7.7bn books in the world’s largest floating bookshop. 400 volunteers hailing from 60 countries work on board the ship. Logos Hope and Diospi Suyana both have an interdenominational orientation.
