A Mixture of Nostalgia, Fun, and Gratitude

Diospi Suyana says goodbye to the Morigeau’s, Ann-Charlotte Ronnqvist, and Marion Hofmann

In a few days, the Morigeaus will return to North America.  The internist Dr. Kirsten Morigeau and her husband Ryan, a first class photographer, will start a new chapter in San Antonio, TX.  The Finnish chief of nursing, Ann-Charlotte Ronnqvist and the deputy managing director Marion Hofmann from Germany, soon will both travel back to their home countries.  Both missionaries had already extended their stay longer than they had initially planned.

The three-hour party expressed a lot of gratitude for the time spent together.  As always we had a fun and enjoyable time and wish God’s blessing for the returnees.

We hope that our friends in the US, Finland, and Germany will have a good start back in their home countries.  Experience shows that the returning to your home country is more difficult to overcome than arriving in Peru.

It will not be easy to fill the gaps in our staff.  Until the end of the year it looks like we will be experiencing a deficiency of doctors.  The administration is chronically understaffed and for nursing management we are currently looking for a long term solution.  So we do what we have always done: pray and work hard.
