Intensive care patient getting some fresh air
Since weeks he has been fighting to stay alive after having several surgeries. The year 2016 has been, up till now, life on the intensive care unit connected to cables and monitors, behind the walls of the hospital. Yesterday morning, the intensive care nurse, Sarah Glöckler, did the only right thing that needed to be done: she pushed the patient in his wheelchair out into the fresh air. Maybe the flowers in the open countryside and the wind blowing into the nose of the patient will be enough stimulation to strengthen the will of the inner spirit.
The outcome of an illness is not only dependent on shots and infusions, but also from the will and desire of the patient to get healthy. At the same time, we do not forget that God is the ruler over life and death.
