Asociación Civil Diospi Suyana Radio & TV
Four people in a notary office in Abancay. What looks like a frivolous selfie has a serious background. In order that Diospi Suyana can obtain radio- and TV-licences in the future only Peruvians are allowed to make up the registered society. Diospi Suyana-Peru also counts missionaries, i.e. foreigners, as its members. For this reason a Peruvian registered society was founded, which counts the missionary couple John as its members: as they have Peruvian passports they are just as Peruvian as any Quechua-Indian.
The statutory corporation is called: Asociación Civil Diospi Suyana Radio & TV – it is a legal entity and fulfils all requirements needed to be able to use media-frequencies. The authorities officially authorised its name yesterday. Another step forward to be able “to reach the world with the best message there is”! (Con el mejor mensaje al mundo).
