An Afternoon with Muslim pupils

And of course Prophet Isa was mentioned

The Gymnasium Eringerfeld in North-Rhine-Westphalia can claim to have a special status in Germany, since most of its pupils are Muslims. Dr Klaus John accepted an invitation to visit the school and addressed over 300 pupils in a double-lesson. Towards the end of his talk the missionary doctor said: “I know that most of you are Muslims and I have great respect towards your faith. I myself am a Christian and believe in Jesus Christ, whom the Prophet Isa talks about.

The pupils clapped after the final PowerPoint slide and within seconds the stage was buzzing with conversations. “I also have a personal dream,” said one youth, crying, wearing a headscarf, “You gave me so much encouragement. Thank you!” “Impressive, seriously impressive,” a young man called to me outside. “You really have something to talk about, other people just brag about nothing in particular.”

It is amazing that the story about Diospi Suyana touches the hearts of Christians and Non-Christians alike. Protestants and Catholics feel strengthened in their faith in God, even Muslims and Buddhists can gain a lot from Diospi Suyana’s vision and a good number of atheists have been supporting our work for several years now, even though they are fully aware of the fact that we believe that Jesus Christ is the Saviour of the World.

Picture above: more pupils came than the organisers expected – initially there were not enough chairs for everyone.
