The uplink-antenna has been erected
It took a couple of hours work. Since last night the satellite dish for the uplink stands behind the Hospital Diospi Suyana. As soon as the downlinks have been installed at our six locations in Southern Peru roughly 0.8 million people will be able to tune into Diospi Suyana’s radio programme. The Australian Chris Welch (to the rear of the picture) has brought the necessary knowhow for our media technology with him. We are dependent on his 25-year experience both in the choice of the components and also in setting up the connection to the satellite in space.
Diospi Suyana is facing exciting times. We hope that we will be able to broadcast the Christmas message in December from all our antenna sites.
