Dramatic progress after a complete forearm amputation

Physio- and occupational therapists are extremely satisfied

Three months ago we reported on young man who had almost completely amputated his right forearm with an electric saw.  3 months after the operation performed by Dr Tim Boeker, assisted by Dr David Brady, everything appears extremely successful.  In large sections of his forearm the patient can feel sensation.  As the pictures show the right-handed patient can use his hand again.  Thanks to our staff’s devoted support and encouragement he will in future be able to sign documents again and eat with knife and fork.

We thank all doctors and therapists involved for this remarkable result.
