A big day for two families and a day of joy and thanksgiving for Diospi Suyana
Yesterday, when Doctor Héctor Paucar Sotomayor got up to speak in the festival hall of the Peruvian Medical Chamber, the long walk through Peruvian bureaucracy ended for the Bradys and the Boekers. The Dean personally handed them their official Peruvian licence. This means that our four members of staff can spend the rest of their working lives in Peru. The whole Diospi Suyana community is delighted and thankful for this milestone.
Urologist, Dr David Brady, paediatrician, Dr Dorothea Brady, gynaecologist, Dr Miriam Boeker, and traumatologist, Dr Tim Boeker have finally obtained the certificates that they deserve qua qualification. Respect and recognition for the work already done and an energy boost for their future tasks at the missionary hospital.
