Diospi-Suyana-Radio for the inhabitants of Abancay
Not everyone is born for clambering around a high tower affixing long pieces of steel. But the view one gets from the top over Abancay’s valley, 1,700m below, is breath-taking and well worth it.
As soon as the steel framework protrudes into the sky the technicians will affix the antennae. The electricity-supply-application has already been made. Middle of July our radio programme could be broadcast from here – we hope for the best.
