Last week’s construction analysis

There’s Good News – but that was to be expected

Hello friends, after an extended bank holiday weekend in May, we are concentrating our activities on the kindergarten.  All supports in the attic are concreted and masonry work is progressing rapidly.  The job is complicated since all materials such as cavity blocks and concrete  need to be either pulled up with a winch or carried up the staircase.  Plastering on the ground floor has just been started.

Tiling in the locker-rooms is turning out to be quite complex due to the rooms’ and wash  troughs’ skew shape, however, we are still making good progress.

Meanwhile, the window manufacturer has manufactured the gymnasium doors and is assembling the parts. In the gatekeepers’ house has been screeded and our two painters continue working on the façade. That’s all from us in Curahuasi.

Blessed weekend wishes from the construction team, Johannes and Udo
