He is in the best hands with Christian Haupt
Derwin is 30 years old and lives in Cusco. In the picture above, he makes a positive, joyful impression. But it wasn’t always like this. At the age of 23, he lost his right arm and both legs below the kneecap after an electrical accident. He received orthopaedic treatment in hospital, but the solutions offered were suboptimal. Derwin increasingly lost his zest for life.

She told him about her own experiences with the Diospi Suyana orthopaedic center. Derwin took courage and soon after traveled to Curahuasi. Christian Haupt produced three custom-made prostheses, two legs and an arm.
Today, Derwin owns a small kiosk in Cusco. We can describe him as a grateful person. A certain Ingrid gave him the decisive tip. Christian Haupt provided him with the limbs. And the young man, who has been severely tested by life, even claims that he has come much closer to God during this time of suffering. When he left the office of our master orthopaedic surgeon for the last time, he had tears in his eyes. They were tears of gratitude and not of self-pity.
