One cannot tell by looking at the three ladies that they were on the operating table the day before. On Wednesday, gynaecologist Dr. Jens Hassfeld performed operations on the uterus of each woman. All three had travelled between 8 and 12 hours to have this operation done in Curahuasi.
With such good results in the operating room, its no surprise that patients come from such great distances. We congratulate Dr. Hassfeld (left) and his wife Damaris (right, nurse) for the good outcomes in surgery. Your workload is expected to increase steadily over the next few years.
