A cane in the truest sense of the word
From Peru Dr Martina John writes: “Yesterday an 80-year-old Quechua-Indian came to the hospital. He had made a cane out of old bits of piping for himself and lives in the city of Sicuani in Cusco Province. In order to support his aging limbs Daniel Müller gave him a top-quality walking stick.
Furthermore, we gave him four different drugs free of charge. All of us were delighted to see him, since it is exactly these poor people that are the missionary hospital’s target group!”
