Convincing the tent canvas sewing shop

The time factor

Srta. Flor Guillen (left) and Guido Zuniga (right) flew from Lima to Cusco in the morning and arrived in Curahuasi at lunchtime. They run a company that sews tarpaulins together. They have a long queue of orders and estimate 25 sewing days for our rear tent roof. However, the festival starts in 16 days.

A missionary doctor stands next to the screen and hopes that his presentation will move the hearts of the audience. “Yes,” says the owner, “we are moving Diospi Suyana’s project into first place, but it will still be close!” – Her business partner Zuniga now takes the floor: “What an incredible willingness to sacrifice there is in the history of Diospi Suyana. We will do everything we can to speed up the sewing work!”

Serious faces in the amphitheater. The welding work will probably be finished and so will the front tent roof. But how far will we get in the back area? As always at Diospi Suyana we have to work and pray.
