Thanks to the packers
Container No. 1 brought the entire metal workshop to Peru in 2006. This was followed by an average of 4 container shipments per year from Germany and other countries. As a rough estimate, equipment and materials worth USD 11 million reached the working fields of our mission. A few hours ago, Detlev Hofman, Olaf Böttger and Florian John rolled one pallet after another into the large box. It was hard work for the three of them. And of course we in Peru are already looking forward to the ship’s arrival in March.
Once again, the French shipping company CMA donated the sea transportation and the majority of the contents are donations in kind from various companies. Each of the 87 containers has been a source of great gratitude for us so far. /KDJ
