Container #72 brought us one of our most valuable loads

A new crawler aerial platform was also part of the package

The driver of the articulated lorry needed two days to bring Container#72 from Lima to Curahuasi.  Thankfully the journey passed without any accidents or assaults.  Our workshop- and logistics teams headed by Maribel Congona and David Guisado respectively unloaded the whole container within two hours.  The value of the many transported boxes was a high six-figure sum.

For some people when they look at the big, heavy, monster-like crawler they think they are seeing a remote-controlled robot.  But it is merely a working platform from which in future workmen will repair the roofs of our various buildings.

We thank all companies who have donated a high percentage of the container’s contents.  French CMA sponsored the sea-transport.  It will take a couple of weeks until all the products have been registered and distributed throughout the hospital.

Yesterday’s occasion would definitely have warranted a party, but during the current epidemic such larger gatherings are forbidden.

The rear hospital yard is filling up with boxes.
